The Telcel-Motorola 200 will mark several first for David Stremme, the No. 14 Navy Accelerate your life Dodge
Charger and FitzBradshaw Racing.
First off, the race will be the first race on a road course for David Stremme and
the Navy Racing team. Stremme attended the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving School in Phoenix during January
to fine tune his road racing skills. Likewise, Sunday’s race will mark the first time that FitzBradshaw Racing has fielded
a car on a road course.
DAVID STREMME ON AUTODROMO HERMANOS RODRIGUEZ AND THE TELCEL-MOTOROLA 200“This
weekend will be an entirely new experience for me in a NASCAR Busch Series car. I have never raced a road course before, but
I did study at the Bondurant Racing School in January so I have an idea of what to expect. I just know the main thing is to
keep it out of the sand and not to miss any of my shifts. That will be my main focus all day. We had a good race last week
and moved up in the points quite a bit, so this week we want to maintain the momentum we gained in California.”
CREW
CHIEF RANDY COX ON THE NO. 14 NAVY ACCELERATE YOUR LIFE DODGE CHARGER“This track poses an entirely new set of
problems for the crew and David. Obviously, we are all going to learn some things this week about road course racing, but
as long as we go down there and stay focused, I think we will do a good job and will come out of there with a positive result.”
